Your Soul, Pain, Laws of Life

Welcome. We are The Council.

For you, time has stood still. There was a time when you laughed and played and was not concerned about the future, where you were going and how you would get there. There are responsibilities that have been placed upon you and for sure, these were not there when you were a child. And so, you take the time to look around to make decisions and to query what is the best choice. We are here, of course, to assist you and do you realize that we walk beside you arm and arm. Sometimes you feel our presence and other times you doubt. This is true.

You are at a point on your journey where you feel stuck where you are. You have created these boundaries yourself, even though it may look like another has done this to you. You look to the left and to the right and you see more of the same, barriers erected, unable to pass. Above you, as you look up you see freedom, for the sky has no boundaries and is fast. There is a part of you that longs to be free, to fly with the birds and go where you wish. You are still able to do this, even though you may feel you cannot, for your essence is free.

You are a practical person for your feet are firmly on the ground. Even though you dream, you know where you are right now and what it is that is required of you. Others have their own journeys, and do not be concerned about them for they too walk with us. They too are being guided and supported and of course, loved. And so, what is it that you wish for yourself, for your life, can you visualize it, can you dream it big enough? For no one can give you your dreams, this must originate from yourself.

There are no chains on you, no barriers to cross, no caverns too deep, no oceans too wide, for all that you are is there. You have the knowledge and the wisdom and the love and the caring. You have permission to give this love to yourself fully. You need not ration it, using it only for others for you are just as important, you are just as divine. You are just as special. Be kind to yourself. Treasure your gifts, for you are not like another in any way. You are unique, you are one of a kind. And so what is it about yourself that you call to yourself right now.? What parts of yourself have been left unfulfilled?

Call them back now, for the Soul longs to be whole. If you section off a part of yourself and put it in its own compartment, you are not whole. Often times, we see those who have pain, who put those pains away and do not look at them, but they still know that it’s there. Can you find the courage to open up that box and look at your pain? For when you do, you will find that it is nothing. It is only what you have created in your mind, what you think should be, but you being love, knows no pain. And so, can we say that the perception of pain is temporary, is of this life only. You will not take it with you, but while you are here, it can serve many purposes. You long to be free, to be free of those pains, and so it is your choice how you wish to proceed. Do you proceed safe, taking no risks, standing where you have been for a while now? Or can you see those barriers are small, are easily overcome and then you are free once more!

Forever you are bound to the laws of life and, although, some may look at this as being restrictive, it is anything but. For the Lord, our God has written this in the stars and the heavens to provide for you always your wishes and your dreams being fulfilled. And so once you understand these laws, you will understand yourself, for this is what you are seeking. Be brave! Have courage! For it is only a short time here before you see and understand the bigger picture.

A PARTNERSHIP BUILT ON TRUST

Trust in the process. It’s okay to be sceptical and to have doubt, but when you challenge every part of the spiritual process, it can actually hamper your development and keep you frustrated. For instance, in my early meditations, I would consistently call on my daughter in spirit to connect with me. While I sat still, focused on my breath, I would see bright, colourful waves of pink and violet behind my eyes. But I wanted more. I asked and implored my daughter to send me proof that she was around me. Over and over again in my meditations, I called on my daughter, and I would see pink and violet bursts of colour, the most peaceful and joyful shades I had ever seen. I realized, here was all the proof I needed to be certain that she was with me! I had called on her and she had answered me.

When I stopped doubting that the spirit world could hear my prayers, and being sceptical of my ability to connect to my daughter, only then was I ready for more information from the spirit realm. To stop challenging the process is to welcome the opening of your spiritual gifts. When you trust that the spirit world is always present, you can move on to the next step of expanding your spiritual abilities. If you constantly doubt that your loved one is present and more than willing to communicate with you; if you, moreover, continually descend into scepticism, it will only be more difficult to move past that point into a state of trust in a process that you may not always understand.

As you continue to trust, your loved ones and guides will communicate with you more, and together you will grow into a partnership built on trust. None of this can happen without this ideal partnership. You will see that different stages in your development will require more trust on your part. For you to progress further, you may need to take a leap of faith as you venture into new areas of working with spirit such as Reiki, or hands-on healing, and mediumship, (when one brings through messages from a loved one who has crossed into the spirit realm). Trust that Spirit will never let you down. There is immense joy when you try something new and gain a broader understanding of that special spiritual partnership with Spirit, which ultimately brings healing to yourself and to those around you. The spiritual realm is built upon the energy of unity, service and gratitude. When you match the energy of the spirit world with your own energy and readiness to work together, anything is possible.

HONOURING THE SELF

Welcome, We are The Council. You have been with us many times before. For you are one who is searching, who is learning how to trust.

There have been many situations that you have called upon yourself to allow yourself to experience, what it takes not only to trust others, but to trust yourself. There are those who depend on you. Ones who walk with you. They too have desires and wishes of their own, but they are joined to you in this experience for not only their own growth, but to support you.

You look out and see what is there for you to see, but there is an energy that runs deeper than your perceptions. Right now, it is time and space. You are here on the earth and this living entity offers herself to you so that you are able to experience yourself in a finite way. What is it like for a soul so grand to play a little while in a body? How do you contain freedom?

This is part of why you struggle for it is true this is not home for you. And so you seek, search and look for a place to call home, when indeed this is only temporary. And so, what you seek on a superficial level is not what will bring you comfort for there is a deeper solution for you to acknowledge. Wherever you are, where you roam, where ever you look it is the same. The scenery may look different, people may come and go, situations may change and yet there is a part of you who knows no change who knows only now who understands only joy. And so, as you choose to experience this physical finite life, how do you contain yourself here, or do you have to? Can you experience your soul here on earth now? How is this possible?

There are those who can give you clues to this. There are those who wish you well. Those who give you comfort and support and those who give you a hard time. All are serving a purpose, all are helping you to understand the self.

There is a part within you that is that wanderer, that never feels quite secure where you are although you try. And so, can you acknowledge this part of yourself and know that it is fully accessible and you are able to integrate this into your existence as well.

Try to see your life beyond what others tell you for they do not know you, only you know yourself. If you must, then move, if you must, then stay. You can only honour the self. To live another’s choices, to live another’s life, is to dishonour the self. There are those who will come with you on this journey and then there are those who will let you go. This too is part of the experience. How much do you alter yourself to please another? How much do they alter themselves to please you?

Within the universe there is the law of balance. All will self-correct at one point. And so, you need not concern yourself with this now, instead ask yourself, “Is this where I want to be, is this what I want to do?”. Look beyond the rewards of the world. Look beyond what people tell you is success. Look beyond your perceptions for all is form, all is like another. Your true home knows what is real. Your true home honours you and everyone else. And so, as you go about your daily chores, ask yourself, does this serve me, does this serve others? And then you will know what is appropriate and what is good for you. No one can make these choices for you, including us, for this is not our role.

JESUS SPEAKS OF PEACE

For the Introduction to Meditation Workshop Participants

My Dear Ones,

We have started a journey, you and I. And so, be not afraid, for I am with you always. You have been born to greatness. Do you not understand this? Rejoice for I am offering you peace. I come from Love. This you know well. Forever we are bound together. We cannot be separate. From now on, you are safe, for you have never left the vision of the Father. Together we are One. Together, we are each other’s salvation. Alone, we can not do the Father’s will for it is impossible. Together we are fulfilling His desire. When you understand that all has been provided for you, you will cease to worry. Join together, help one another. For this too is not only the will of the Father, it is the will of you, of me. Together we are One. Together we are one will. We cannot be separate from His will.

Acknowledge us. Acknowledge who you are and be not afraid for indeed this truth will set you free and there will be no more need of want, of take, of imposing your desires on another for you will know that you have everything you need. Now, in this moment, you need not search, you need not strive, accept. This is not born of religion, this is not born of spirituality, this is born of where you come from. Forever we are bound to one another, find peace in this.

What You Seek, You Have Already Found

For the Mediumship Workshop

Each of you has been given many opportunities to expand the Self, to learn about yourself. When you know who you are, you are able to look at the world, at your brothers and sisters, and see yourself.

You have been born to greatness. There is a power that moves through each of you. This is a gift from the Father Himself, for He wills all to be at peace and also to move throughout existence in a way that will honour Him. And so continue on your quest, for each of you is searching for love, knowing that you not only live in this time and space, but that you live with Us for all eternity. This is true.

Relax, for all has been provided for you. You need not worry about tomorrow, for it will take care of itself. In this moment, you have everything you need. Can you see your brothers and sisters beside you? You need to know that you are not alone, that your life has purpose and meaning; and so continue on your spiritual quest, to seek, to find; but know too that what you seek, you have already found.

But there are those who do not know this, those who feel lost and alone, and abandoned and they look for what you know, and so, reach out to them and show your gifts, for they are in need of healing. And as you give, so shall you receive. Blessed are those who share the gifts of the Father, and indeed you are blessed!

JESUS SPEAKS: WHERE THE POWER IS, WHERE THE JOY IS, WHERE THE PEACE IS

For the Monday afternoon circle
April 1, 2013

       Welcome, We are The Council. Each of you holds the light. Indeed the light can be dimmed and it can be brightened. And so, now as We speak, your light is shining in various degrees. Some of you have a large light and this light reaches out to many others and it has come to pass that indeed your light is being noticed by many, who not only walk with you, but those who do not know you and yet feel a remembrance when they gaze upon your face.

The energy changes, and One steps forward to speak...

Loved ones, do you not understand that each of you holds the key - that each of you has what another needs. Can you not reach out to one another and give from your heart, give what you have freely without reserve. For you cannot take the material possessions with you for these are of the world and have their own time of existence. And so yes, they serve a purpose, but release them for they cannot go where you are going.

There are many who are in need of love, for attention, for someone to notice them. Take their hand, look in their eyes and give them the dignity that they so deserve. Keep your head up, see life around you, it is there for you to notice. Each of you will expand the self in many different ways and this is how it should be. And so, although you can be inspired by others, you must do what feels inately right for the self for you know what it is that brings you happiness, and contentment and fulfillment. But I can tell you, that if you do not make a connection with one another, then you will not find yourself.

Just as, in the days that followed my return, there were those who had faith who walked forward and gave freely to those around them, who spread the good word. There was much resistence and you will find it true today, but know too, that there is much hope in the world and you can expand what I started. For it is in loving one another where the power lies, where the joy is, where the peace is. At anytime where you find yourself hesitating to give your love, you will find yourself suffering. And so, we hope that as you learn this, you will understand that as you give love freely, you also give permission to yourself to be happy.

There are many lights that shine on the earth at this time, but there is a ways to go. Once you have worked on the self and understood how you can shine your light, then perhaps it is time that you shared with others more. If you have not found your light, then perhaps it is time that you learnt about your soul’s purpose, about why you are here, about what it is you need to understand. And so, can you see how there are those who are just understanding the self, then there are those who have already worked through this and are at the position now to share, to teach, to help. This is a process different for each of you, and so honour where you are right now, for you cannot leap ahead.

Each of you have been annointed. Each of you have been given gifts and abilities. Each of you knows the truth. Trust, have faith, know that I am always with you. Know that this cannot be any different, for we are bound with one another from the beginning of time.

Hold each other’s hands. Now, take one another’s hands. (the circle joins hands) This is our brothers and sisters. Get used to feeling one another’s hands in yours. This should not be alien to you. Have strength to reach out. Have strength to share what you know. Have strength to open your heart. There is no other way.

There is a book that has been written, but know that there is a fresh book, one that has yet to be written. And so, yes there has been a past, but know that you create what is to be and what is to come. Enjoy, have faith, learn, grow, experience, touch one another, share, love.

Summer 2012

Here I am at Lily Dale, NY again. I'm here this time to learn Psychic Investigation. I am with a friend who has a keen interest in this topic, so I thought I'd come along to have a new experience working with spirit. We'll see what this week will unfold.

I also came to get away and experience a different environment to help me write. I've had some issues about completing my book. I have so much information to share, but the immensity of it is overwhelming to me. I have to remind myself to focus on the next part of the writing and not to think too much about the future or in the details of "book writing. I don't have writer's block. I always have something to write about, its just that because its so close to my heart, I put a lot of pressure on myself and feel anxious about completing something that as an immense amount of importance to my personal journey. Perhaps I place too much importance on it, but it feels that significant to be. I remind myself to write for myself and my own need to express my story and not to be concerned about what will happen later.

There is no television here and little to do in the evenings and so I am in my room writing on my iPad. I think about home, what is important to me and feel overwhelmed with gratitude of all the blessings I have. What a luxury to be able to devote my time to what I love and care deeply about. I feel spirit close to me now, knowing that they support me 100% in whatever I choose to do, but especially when I engage in my work that is part of my life's purpose.

I can often times see another's life purpose so clearly, their life experiences leading them to a place where they are living honestly and from their heart. You can see it in another when their face lights up just talking about what they care deeply about. I was recently visited by a bereaved father.  His son transitioned only two years prior, he is deep in the mourning period. His wife, unable to cope, has taken to sleep whenever she can and talks frequently about suicide to be with her son. I listened to his story, his love for his son, and how he was a special light in this world. His son was autistic and developed leukemia. Him and his wife tried to find a bone marrow donor to save his life, but there isn't a registry in Canada. He solicited citizens to come forward to have a swab taken from their cheek for their DNA to be tested to see if they were for a match for his son. He did all he could to find a donor, but it was not meant to be. When he talks about what he is doing to bring awareness that a donor list is needed, and his face lights up. His son's words echoing in his head that people don't have to die.

Even thought his son did transition without a donor being found, he laid the foundation for his father's work perfectly. I hope his father continues to pursue the public and governmental bodies to make this registry happen. I feel, his son's life wasn't about being saved from leukemia, his son's life was about displaying the need for us to fill another's need. So often, the newly bereaved focus on a life lost, the details surrounding the death, and how they could have prevented it. They can often be full guilt or feel victimized. To gradually move to an understanding that there is a bigger picture at play, can help to move them through the grieving process by realizing there is a reason why traumatic events happen to us.

There are so many reminders of what our life path is for us to notice on a daily basis. Many of these reminders occur because of the workings of spirit. Spirit can include, but not limited to, the ones we loved here on earth that have transitioned to spirit, but also angels and guides and higher light beings. These beings of light help us by leaving clues and gentle reminders to what we need to learn, remember and pursue for our own growth and healing. Every life path is different, but there are threads of commonality of learning and experiential opportunities that can be offered to us and these can be orchestrated in an infinite number of ways. Some common learning themes are: compassion, patience, self-reliance, truth, honesty, balance, self-confidence, self-worth, understanding and knowledge, self-care, caring for another, joy, creativity, kindness, etc.

Now that I am aware of this, I often try to go beyond the obvious situation and find the hidden gem of understanding being offered to me. This can be difficult when you are in the mist of a situation, but with patience, what you need to understand will surface in a number of ways.

Most people are aware that their dreams hold information for them. This can be the easiest way of receiving a message from spirit and your own higher self. The message of the dream can be lost if time isn't taken to ponder on the dream and what it might be trying to tell you. I often suggest to those who are recording their dreams to take special notice of the emotion of the dream. This can be a clue to what emotion your subconscious is trying to express which has been suppressed by your conscious self in your waking state. This can help you to get in touch with what needs to be brought to your awareness and resolved.

In different stages of my grief, I have had dreams of Elizabeth. I know the difference between a visit from her and my own feelings needing expression. If you reflect on what it is you are needing in your waking life a dream can make sense. I often feel the need to hug her and have had many dreams where I am able to fulfill that need.
